The Statue of Unity

The Statue of Unity is the memorial of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the first Deputy Prime Minister of India and the first Home Minister. The Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Narendra Modi ji laid the foundation stone for the construction of this huge statue on the occasion of the birthday of Sardar Patel on 31 October 2013.

The world's tallest statue is the 'Statue of Unity'. This idol has been installed in Kevadia in Narmada district of Gujarat. The 'Statue of Unity' is 182 meters high. And a total of 2989 crore has been spent in the construction of this statue.The time taken for the construction of the statue was 42 months and it was clearly decided that this date would not go ahead. 5,700 metric ton, or about 57 lakh kg of structural steel was used to build the 'Statue of Unity'.
Also, 18,500 MT of rods are also installed in it. 2 crore 25 lakh kg of cement was used to make the statue. 

The Statue of Unity project was started in December 2014 by the construction company Larsen & Tourbo, the project will have a light and sound show on the events as well as events related to Sardar Patel's life in a museum here.

Spring Temple Buddha


This statue of Lord Buddha has been installed in the year 2002 at a place called Lusan in Henan province, China. The height of this statue of Lord Buddha is 153 meters. The statue is made of 108 kg of gold, 3300 tons of copper and 15,000 tons of steel. The cost of building the Spring Temple Buddha was estimated at around $ 55 million. Of which $ 18 million came on the statue.

After the destruction of Bamiyan Buddhas in Afghanistan by the Taliban in 2001, the construction of this Buddha temple was announced. The construction of this giant statue of Lord Buddha was completed in 2008. After this it was announced to build two buildings under the statue - Diamond Seat and Sumeru Seat.

This statue of Lord Buddha, included in the world's highest statue, has also been recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Ushiku Buddha


The statue is located in Ushiku, Ibaraki Province, Japan. This Buddha statue is made entirely of bronze. The statue was completed in 1993, 120 meters in length, including a 10 meter base and a 10 meter lotus platform.

There are four different levels within the statue, visitors can reach the top using elevators. Visitors on the first level can listen to beautiful music, the second level is entirely devoted to scriptural study, the third level is filled with 30000 Buddha statues.


From the top level, visitors can see the beautiful gardens within the idol's surroundings.

Statue of Liberty


In 1886, the Statue of Liberty was given by France as an offering to America. The main objective of which was to maintain friendship between the two countries. The full name of the "Statue of Liberty" is "Liberty Initiating the World".

This statue is located in Liberty Island Manhattan, New York City, New York, US. Are located in The height of this statue is 93 meters. Also, the total weight of this statue has been marked as 226 tonnes.

The statue has a crown on its head, which has seven rays, which represent the seven continents and seas.

The Motherland Calls


The construction of the Motherland Call statue began in May 1959 and was completed on 15 October 1967. This statue is located in Europe. The height of this statue is 85 meters. This is the highest statue of a woman in the world.

The statue is a marvelous image of the motherland, calling on her family to repel the enemy and to continue her onward attack. This statue was designed by Yevgeny Wucheth and structural engineer Nikolai Nikitin.
