Qutub Minar

Qutub Minar is one of the famous historical places of India. The height of Qutub Minar is just over 72 meters. Qutub Minar is the second tallest tower in India.

Qutub Minar was built by Sultan Qutubuddin Aibak of the Delhi Sultanate. The construction of Qutub Minar began in 1200 AD and lasted until 1220 AD. The complete work of this tower was carried out by Iltutmish, the successor of Qutubdin Aibak. The height of Qutub Minar is just over 72 meters. The tallest tower is Fateh Burj, which is in Mohali village, in Chapar Chidi, which is also higher than Qutub Minar.
This tower is also called the highest dome tower. Most red sandstone has been used on it. The Qutub Minar is some 72 meters high and has 379 steps to the upper end. The initial diameter of the tower is 14.3 meters, which has increased to 2.7 meters on the last floor.

The prayers of the Holy Quran are inscribed on the walls of the tower. Qutub Uddin Aibak of Ghulam Dynasty D. The foundation stone of the tower was laid in 1199 and it was built to offer prayers and its first floor was built, after which three more storeys by his successor and son-in-law Shams Uddin Itutmish (AD 1211-36) Pair it over.

The Alai Minar, which stands to the north of Qutub Minar, was started by Ala Uddin Khilji with the intention of making it twice the size of the Qutub Minar. He could only complete the first floor, which is now 25 meters in height. Other remains of this complex of Qutub include madrasas, tombs, tombs, mosques and architectural members.

There are two controversies regarding the construction of Qutub Minar. Some historians believe that this tower was built for offering azaan. The reason for this is the presence of Kujwat ul Islam Majjid nearby. But some historians also believe that Delhi was built in celebration of the beginning of Muslim rule.
