The Taj Mahal
The Taj Mahal of Agra is considered a symbol of India's
pride and love. The Taj Mahal is in the seven wonders of the world.
It was
built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in
memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Here is the mausoleum of Mumtaz Mahal too. The Taj Mahal is a classic example
of a mix of Indian, Persian and Islamic architectural styles. Construction of
the Taj Mahal, considered to be an
example of Mohabbat, was completed after a long time of about 23 years. Small
nuances have been taken care of in the carving and decoration of the Taj Mahal made of white Sangammar. This is the
reason why after many years of construction, people still believe in its
beauty. Let us tell you that the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan started the
construction of the Taj Mahal in 1632, but it was completed in 1653 AD. Many
Indian architecture including Hindu, Islamic, Mughal have been incorporated in making Taj Mahal. Shah Jahan at that time spent about 20
lakh rupees to build this grand mausoleum of Mumtaz Mahal, which is around 827 million dollars and
52.8 billion rupees today. Precious and extremely expensive white marble stones
have been used in the construction of this historic monument in the Mughal period, the Taj Mahal. Around 28 different
types of stones have been used in the construction of this very beautiful and
attractive building.
Entry Gate :-
The main entrance to the mausoleum is from the south gate.
The entrance gate is 151 feet (0.05 km) long and 117 feet (0.04 km) wide and
the entrance is one hundred feet high. Tourists enter the area from the small
gates next to the highest entrance.
Main door :-
The main entrance to the tomb is made of Red Sand Stone.
This main gate is 30 meters high. The rectangles of the Koran are engraved in
Arabic script at this main gate. Compared to this main gate, the style of
Hindus includes a slightly dome shaped marquee and looks very amazing. Letter
writing appears to be of a similar size from one of the options for this
entrance. Those who measure it square, it is increasingly made that huge and
tall letters which are entangled in the square measure of forest Sijawang. The
square size 300 × 300 meters of garden is also structured here. Designed within
a variety of four orchards, this square measure comes in both directions on the
pedestrian side.
